We planned lambing much better this year. All were born within two weeks and the temperature was on the rise.

March 26, 2008 Gretchen gave birth to a white ewe at about 10:30AM whom we called “Pinky” due to her all pink nose. Pinky was large and it was Gretchen’s first lamb, but she had no problem. Pinky had just dropped to the ground when I checked on her. Sired by Clayton. Sold to Dave in Grinnell, IA
March 27, 2008 Ede gave Rick his first solo birthing experience. I was in Texas and Ede was having trouble. Ede gave birth to a white ram and black ewe. Cowlyn sired. Both lambs sold to Dave in Grinnell, IA

March 31, 2008 Tess delivered a black ewe at 8AM. We named her Truffles. Her sire is Colwyn.

April 1, 2008 Crystal had twin boys – one white and one black at 12:30AM. Anthony helped Rick with her first lamb. She was in labor around 10, so Rick called a friend who wanted to see a birthing……nothing happened while she and her son were in the barn. They were sired by Colwyn. Both sold to Dave in Grinnell, IA
