This year, 2009, we are planning to build a 16X40 semi-pitted greenhouse. Our intentions are to have a passive solar greenhouse with minimal heating requirements by burying the walls four feet and using recycled freezer doors and panels. This greenhouse will be used to grow food year-round. We will update this page with pictures of our progress. We will also include produce and seedlings for sale here.

In addition to our greenhouse, we are starting a new fruit orchard. There are six varieties of heirloom apples, five Asian pears, two European pears, two persimmon two pawpaw, shipova, and a mountain ash. We are going to replenish our pine tree population with several pinenut trees.
